Update Your Resume Before Heading to Auditions

Before heading out to an audition with your child, or you yourself, whether that is modeling or acting agents and representatives, as well as casting directors at Washington D.C. Casting Calls are eager to see you. They requested you for that reason. The most embarassing thing that could happen is that your photos or size information or resume is entirely out of date. Your hair was short and red in the photos and you were 4 sizes smaller, you show up to the audition and you don’t get past the sign up sheet because you do not fit the breakdown that they thought you fit. It is possibly the most humiliating feeling ever right? Avoid it! By simply updaitng your resume, sizes, and photos every 3-6 months will help you avoid waisting your time and the directors who could potentially book you. This also means, that by updating your information you may receive more casting calls and audition opportunities. If you went down 2 sizes, or your 15 year old went from 5′5′ to 5′8 in height could potentially land them a deal at a top agency. Updating your information to the most current is a key ingedient in having successful auditions.

If you’re planning to become a formally educated talent in the voice over talent Singapore industry and is currently wondering if there are really credible colleges or universities with such a course out there, I would say that there are. I might not be familiar with all the names of those institutions, but from what I’ve heard and read about the different study majors through the internet, there are even undergraduate and graduate degrees for voice acting courses.

So if you’re graduating from high school and you think you’ve got what it takes to enter the voice over talent Singapore industry, that you think voice acting is the right job for you and will make you happy for all of your life, then don’t hesitate and start looking for the perfect college or university that will suit your needs. I believe that proper education will always be important and if you got that degree, you will fly on top easily.
